These terms govern your use of BlackShares Shop. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the platform. You're responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
Business listings & verification
If you list a business, you represent that you're authorized to do so and that the information — including any Black-owned ownership attestation — is accurate. We may verify, request more information, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or violate these terms.
Cash back, referrals & commissions
- Cash back and referral commissions are earned only on qualifying, attributed purchases, and may be adjusted or reversed if an order is cancelled, refunded, or found to be fraudulent or ineligible.
- Commission rates are set by the participating business and may change; the rate in effect when a qualifying sale is attributed applies to that sale.
- A portion of commissions is allocated to the community investment fund as described on the site.
- Payouts are subject to identity/verification requirements and any applicable minimums, and are processed through our payment provider.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform. Prohibited activity includes fraud or manipulation of attribution, spamming referral links, self-dealing to generate illegitimate earnings, scraping, interfering with the service, or infringing others' rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Third-party stores & services
Purchases happen on the merchant's own store, subject to the merchant's terms. We are not the seller and are not responsible for the products, fulfillment, or the practices of third-party stores and providers.
Disclaimers & liability
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts we've paid you in the prior twelve months.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the platform; we'll revise the date above for material changes. You may stop using the platform at any time, and we may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
